We traded desert sand for island sand and our four crazy coconuts are loving every moment!
There have been plenty of hiccups along the way, but we are finally getting settled into our 1931 Historic Hickam AFB home. The Kids Love the freedom living on base provides and we love the safety & Community On-Base Living Provides!

Stung by scorpion while swimming and made that scorpion epoxied into a coaster
Jack Jack
the craziest of the coconuts and always running full speed into life (and often crashing along the way)
He uses charm and those big brown eyes to get away with Everything.
Still loves swimming and has become quite the beach bum, but there better be a hot tub nearby to warm him up!
Kim
- The K-9 teams are still a highlight in Kim’s life as she continues her work with DHS/TSA. Our move to Hawaii has decreased the workload, but a few trips have transpired during our time here and a few friends were even able to clear their schedules for some treasured time together!
- A few of Our favorite illini Friends made a trip to Vegas and we were able to show them a bit of our Air Force world
- Said “see you soon” to some of the best sPouses We know

- Loved playing drums while in vegas for an incredible church in the very little free time he had
- Said “see you soon” to some of the best military members We know
- Started another grueling lawn overhaul upon moving in
- Took a Staff position At the Pacific Air Force Head Quarters as the division chief of advanced programs.

In the thick of packing and prepping to move to Hawaii, we made sure to join in the hockey hoopla and attended a few games in Stanley Cup Finals! What an incredible experience it was!

All Hands on Deck
Juggling kids and cargo was no easy feat. Thankful for amazing friends and family that helped make this move a bit more manageable.
Filled to the brim
We filled our shipping container and then some! Not everything made the cut to get moved over to Hawaii, but our 14 foot kitchen table made it AND it fits in our house (double bonus),
WE MADE IT
Everything arrived intact! The only thing to break was a plate & coffee pot we broke ourselves upon unpacking
2022 Highlights
Las Vegas Vegas Got SNOW!!
The kids absolutely loved every minute and it was fun to see, but we were over it after a day
USO Parade
We had the awesome opportunity of representing Team USO Nevada in the Summerlin Parade
The Crew Crew Went international
We took the Big boys on a cruise for spring break while the littles stayed with loved ones back HOME.
Kim & Mike made it to Oktoberfest in Germany and roadtripped to Switzerland and Italy!
